Endoscopic Brow Lift - Forehead Rejuvenation

An endoscopic brow lift (forehead lift) raises heavy, drooping eyebrows to open up your eyes, smooth forehead wrinkles, and eliminate that tired, angry, or sad resting expression. Unlike older techniques requiring long incisions across the entire hairline, the endoscopic approach uses 3-5 tiny incisions (1-2cm each) hidden in the hairline.

Results are dramatic yet natural - you look refreshed and alert, not "surprised" or overly pulled. Effects last 10-15 years, making this excellent value for the transformation achieved.

What Brow Lift Corrects

  • Sagging Brows: Eyebrows descended below orbital rim, hooding upper eyelids
  • Horizontal Forehead Lines: Deep wrinkles across forehead from repeated brow raising
  • Frown Lines: Vertical "11" lines between eyebrows (glabellar lines)
  • Angry/Sad Expression: Low brows create chronically upset appearance
  • Asymmetric Brows: One brow lower than the other

Endoscopic vs Traditional Brow Lift

✓ Endoscopic (Our Method)

  • ✓ 3-5 tiny incisions (1-2cm each)
  • ✓ Hidden in hairline - no visible scars
  • ✓ Minimal tissue disruption
  • ✓ Faster recovery (7-10 days social)
  • ✓ Less numbness, reduced hair loss
  • ✓ Natural-looking elevation

Traditional (Coronal) Brow Lift

  • • Long incision ear-to-ear across scalp
  • • Visible scar in hairline
  • • More tissue trauma
  • • Longer recovery (2-3 weeks)
  • • Permanent scalp numbness common
  • • Risk of "surprised" look

The Endoscopic Procedure

Step 1: Tiny Incisions

3-5 incisions (1-2cm) placed behind hairline. Completely hidden once healed.

Step 2: Endoscopic Camera Insertion

Tiny camera (endoscope) inserted through incision. Surgeon views forehead muscles and tissues on screen in high definition. This allows precise work without large incisions.

Step 3: Muscle Release

The muscles causing frown lines (corrugator and procerus) are weakened or removed. This smooths vertical "11" lines between brows - often permanent improvement.

Step 4: Brow Elevation

Forehead tissue elevated and secured in higher position using sutures or small absorbable fixation devices anchored to skull bone. Brows lifted 3-10mm depending on desired result.

Step 5: Closure

Tiny incisions closed with staples or sutures. Removed in 7-10 days.

Recovery Timeline

Day 1-3

Forehead swelling and mild bruising (peaks day 2-3). Some swelling may descend to upper eyelids. Mild headache controlled with medication. Sleep elevated.

Day 4-7

Swelling 50% resolved. Can shower and gently wash hair. Sutures/staples removed day 7-10. May feel numbness across forehead/scalp - this resolves over weeks.

Week 2

Social activities resume. Swelling 90% gone. Brows in elevated position - may look slightly higher than final result. Avoid strenuous activity.

Week 4-6

Resume all activities including exercise. Incisions healed with thin scars hidden in hair. Numbness improving.

Month 3-6

Final Result: Brows settled in final position. Forehead smooth. All numbness resolved. Natural, refreshed appearance.

Often Combined With

Brow lift addresses upper third of face. For complete facial rejuvenation, often combined with:

  • Upper Blepharoplasty: Remove excess eyelid skin revealed after brow lift
  • Facelift: Rejuvenate mid and lower face for total transformation
  • Botox: Maintain smooth forehead between treatments (prevents new lines)
  • Fat Grafting: Restore volume to hollow temples

Am I a Candidate?

Good candidates:

  • Age 40-65 with sagging brows or deep forehead wrinkles
  • Brows descended below orbital rim
  • Bothered by angry/sad/tired appearance
  • Good health, realistic expectations
  • Non-smoker

Consider Botox first if: Under 40, minimal brow descent, only dynamic wrinkles (appear with facial expressions)
