Step 1: Customized Hairline Design

Before any extraction, our surgeon designs a natural hairline based on your facial proportions, age, and hair loss pattern. We create an asymmetrical, irregular line - too perfect looks fake. You approve the design before we begin.

Step 2: Donor Area Preparation

The permanent zone (back and sides of head) is trimmed short. Local anesthesia applied - most patients report only mild pinching sensation for 10 seconds, then complete numbness for 6-8 hours.

Step 3: Follicle Extraction (3-5 hours)

Using motorized micro-punches (0.6-0.9mm diameter), we carefully extract individual follicular units. Each follicle contains 1-4 hairs. The surgeon selects the healthiest grafts with thickest hair shafts.

How many grafts: Varies by area covered. Hairline only: 1500-2000 grafts | Frontal third: 2500-3500 grafts | Full crown: 4000-6000 grafts

Step 4: Graft Sorting & Storage

Extracted follicles are sorted under microscope by hair count. Single-hair grafts for hairline (natural soft appearance), 2-4 hair grafts for density behind. Stored in chilled Hypothermosol solution to maximize survival.

Step 5: Recipient Site Creation (1-2 hours)

Surgeon creates thousands of tiny slits in recipient area matching your natural hair angle (45 degrees frontal, 30 degrees crown) and direction. Depth must be perfect - too shallow: grafts pop out, too deep: poor blood supply.

Step 6: Graft Implantation (2-4 hours)

Each follicle is delicately placed into a recipient site using jeweler forceps. The team works methodically to ensure proper direction and density. This is the most time-consuming step.
