Rhinoplasty Types

Recovery Timeline

Day 1-7

Cast On: Nasal splint stays in place. Mild bruising around eyes (Piezo minimizes this). Breathe through mouth. Sleep elevated. Pain minimal - feels like sinus pressure.

Day 7-10

Cast Removal: Big reveal! Nose looks refined but still swollen. Any bruising is fading rapidly. Can return to work with makeup.

Week 2-4

90% of swelling gone. Nose looks great in photos. Can resume light exercise (no contact sports for 6 weeks).

Month 3-6

Subtle refinement continues. Tip definition improves as residual swelling resolves.

Month 12

Final Result: 100% swelling resolved. True final shape visible. Results are permanent.

Rhinoplasty Risks & Reality Check
